Terms of Service
1. About these terms
STOORY is a digital storytelling platform operated by Winnow Communication. By accessing the platform or any of its services you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. The service
STOORY offers digital short stories that can be purchased and read online through a private reader. Products are digital only: no physical goods are shipped. Some features may be unavailable while the platform is in development.
3. Accounts
Certain features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity carried out through your account. You must be at least 18 years old to access content marked as intended for adults.
4. Purchases and access
Prices are displayed in euro and include applicable taxes. A purchase grants a personal, non-transferable licence to read the purchased title through the STOORY reader. Access may be limited to a reasonable number of authorised devices to prevent abuse.
5. User-generated content
If you submit an idea or text to create a story, you confirm that you hold the necessary rights to that material and that it does not infringe the rights of others. Submissions may be reviewed automatically and manually, and content that breaches these terms may be removed.
6. Acceptable use
You may not copy, redistribute, resell, scrape or publicly share content obtained through STOORY, nor attempt to circumvent technical protection or access controls. Unlawful, abusive or infringing use of the platform is prohibited.
7. Intellectual property
The STOORY name, logo, interface and published catalogue are protected by intellectual property law. No rights are granted other than the limited reading licence described above.
8. Availability and liability
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and, to the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or to legal requirements. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access in case of a breach of these terms.
